The other day my buddy Danielle helped me make over one of my shirts and taught me a thing or two about sewing (she's got a serger sewing machine!) Danielle is über talented and makes pretty rad art. Check out her fine art blog and her Etsy profile for reconstructed shirts that she makes. From oversize and shapeless, to cute & figure flattering. I'm so stoked! We basically flipped the shirt upside down, tightened the back, and Danielle did the hard part of figuring out how to turn sleeves into pockets. To make things a little easy, I used bias tape to create the straps since I didn't have any matching fabric lying around. I'm really excited to do more clothing related projects.
