More type found this week, this time it was spotted in the office! 4/12 // Instagram
One of the interns did an awesome job of cutting these letters out of styrofoam. It's so lovely! I wish I had more (personal) time to do a type project like this. One of these days...

Check out these old painted signs I stumbled upon during my recent trip to Durham, NC:
Ok, so this last one isn't as historical as the others, but it's hand painted nonetheless. And while it's not as ornate as the others either, I love the script type used for Quality, especially the Q.
Seen at St. Mary's Square.

Some type inspired by a friend who recently moved away. I started this a couple of months and finally got around to finishing it. I hoping to spend more time drawing more type.
Type found in the Dog Patch during my photo adventure with Josh & Matthias. Gorgeous yellow & blue at 790 Tennessee.
San Francisco. Not Smug. Just Better. Enough said ;) As funny and almost legit as this looks, this piece is no longer there.
And right across the street, the Sandwich Shop.
Last year my friend Mike took me on a little walking adventure in San Bruno, CA, a little city just a few BART stops away from SF. I've been living in the Bay Area for 5 years now, but had never step foot in San Bruno, nor ever thought about going there until Mike suggested it one day. Here are some photos from our sunny afternoon exploring San Bruno by foot: Mike, an explorer of sorts. A walk through a little quaint neighborhood.
Awesome vintage architecture from the 50/60's.
Mid-century style signage and typography.
We came across a party supply shop and bought these silly "nerd"glasses.
More great vintage signage and typography. You might have notice from previous posts, that I'm a fan of vintage type.
